There's A Production: 20 Performing Arts Academy

A Musical Theatre School focusing on personal and artistic growth, passion and leadership opportunities!

"WE'RE YOUR PEOPLE"

There's A Production is excited to announce its latest initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and empowering the next generation of theatre enthusiasts! Artistic Director Theresa Noon-Hunter and Operations Director Kristen Henderson have collaborated to launch the 20 Performing Arts Academy in Brantford. This new Musical Theatre School provides a platform for young minds to embrace their individuality, creativity, and pursue their dreams. With each bringing over 20 years of expertise in their respective fields and 20 years of friendship, their partnership is perfectly suited. Their commitment to pushing boundaries and fostering confidence in young performers sets them apart. There's A Production and 20 Performing Arts Academy are dedicated to innovation, inclusivity, and the transformative power of the arts.

Students in grades 6-12 will have the opportunity to learn the art of musical theatre, participate in rehearsals, and perform in a full-scale musical production. Through auditions, cast members will be selected for roles in each session's musical, culminating in a final performance at the end of the session.

Program Fees:

$275.00 Per Session

Fee includes: rehearsal materials, participation in the musical and a performance t-shirt.

Prior to the Session beginning and before the 2nd class/rehearsal, a full refund will be provided, minus a $20 processing fee. After the 2nd class/rehearsal, no refunds will be provided.

Leadership Opportunities:

Students in Grades 10, 11 and 12+ are encouraged to apply for Creative and Production Roles.

20 PAA wishes to encourage leadership and learning all aspects of a show, as we feel it creates a stronger, more well rounded performer. We want to offer up a chance for Grades 10+ to earn Volunteer hours in a fun way doing creative and production roles.

Leadership Opportunities Available:

Music Direction, Stage Management, Choreography, Props Design, Set Design, Costume Design, Sound Design, Sound Engineering, Lighting Design, Scenic Art, Marketing and Front of House.
